Youth & Education

The work of the Local Community Development will continue to build on the youth development work of Sligo Leader Partnership Company. As part of its remit in this area Sligo Leader Partnership works with a large number of youth development agencies to identify gaps in programme development and promote innovative responses.

Collaborative work has been carried out in conjunction with a number of youth development agencies such as: Sligo School Completion Programme, Cranmore Community Co-operative Society, youth groups in Sligo Northside Resource Centre and CLASP, the Model Arts and Niland Gallery’s  Young Model Programme and Easkey and Tubbercurry Family Resource Centres, to name a few.

To promote youth development work in Goal Two, Sligo Leader Partnership promotes innovative programme design in formal and informal education through collaborative approaches to programme design and collective responses to identified gaps.
